To be honest, not the greatest spot, but the best, when it comes to car going from Prague to Slaný and you need to get to Chomutov. Ask around, you only need ride to Lotouš and from there it's easy. (Look up Lotouš place I created) Not a lot of cars stopping here, but you don't need long ride.

Nice place, great for Prague, you can get here by train from main station in Brno, the station is Stary Liskovec. There is a hole, you can go through and then you climb a small bank filled with trash and you are there

Were like yoooo the other guy just waited 20 minutes so this had to be a great spot - naah most people were not going in direction germany. Maybe because it was 6pm on a saturday. Well gave up and took a blablacar for 5€ to dresden💀. Also there were like maybe 3 german cars in the time I stood there. It was only people from prague. Not saying there was no traffic, there was good traffic, but not to my direction (Dresden).

We asked around the parking lot and like 6th car driver was from Turkey driving truck with fish to Rotterdam so we waited with him until his pauze ended and then enjoyed great ride, singing and eat some turkish meals with him while driving to Neatherlans.

Awesome spot, but people from Prague are not stopping as often. A lot of place for car to stop. Easy to get north (Germany)

Direction Teplice, Dresden, Berlin. It's a bit difficult since there is a lane to enter the highway and just there can the cars stop - but the cars entering highway goes slowly.
I was waiting typically 1h.

A lot of cars but 90% of them are not going further than 5km or they quickly drive thru McDonald's. It was difficult to find a ride to germany (I was asking every driver entering the station). After 3h got a lift to the border... It's not that good as it seems to be.

Still, the best one to Dresden/Berlin. Well-reachable by bus from the metro station. And you do not necessarily need to make your way through the muddy field, just continue walking further following the asphalt road after you see the gas station through the bushes and then take left. Made different experiences there, from 1 minute with 3 other people to 1 hour alone. Sometimes there seems to be a lot of local traffic, but be calm @ take a lift to OMV in Litomeřice at least.

I was waiting here for 3h in direction to Germany on Sunday morning in August. I was standing at exit, near parking, at first with sign, later just with thumb. I guess I've no luck with hh. Finally, some nice ladies stopped and picked up me and one other hitchhiker.

You need some time to get there with public transportation, but there's plenty of car. Got a lift halfway to Dresden in 30 minutes... but it was winter and I didn't speak german so at the beginning I was a bit shy in asking.

Was here for about half an hour with a sign and infrequently asking people with german plates. Got a ride all the way to Hanover. I would have been happy to even get to Dresden, but they took me 500km with 200km/h in my precise direction :D

The cars are going really fast and there's no place to stop. It's really dangerous. We've tried a spot before a ramp and after a bridge but it also didn't work well. I do not recommend this spot at all, better try the other one with a small gas station
